JOB SUMMARY

This job is responsible for collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. The incumbent is the accountable lead for the overall blueprint of effective learning programs that meet business goals. In addition, is also accountable for the ongoing design, curation, and maintenance of enterprise level curricula. Will oversee the overall portfolio of learning curricula assigned including the needs analysis, appropriate delivery method, success metrics, and ongoing learning engagement metrics and tactics. Will act as a leader in learning & development solutions on projects assigned; this role may mentor or coach instructional designers or other junior-level staff.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Curates, maintains, and oversees the appropriate materials for the curriculum in which the incumbent is assigned.

  • Accountable for the strategic blueprint for curricula assigned that leverage a variety of adult learning techniques and delivery methods to provide enterprise-level learning & development.

  • Lead complex training related projects ensuring projects remain on time and within budget.

  • Working with Learning Advisory, the position leads the effort to conduct a detailed needs analysis to determine learning expectations related to appropriate metrics. May conduct other learning related analysis and research to align learning to business outcomes.

  • Consults with partners at all levels throughout the enterprise to architect end to end learning solutions, based on customer requirements, skills and performance gaps, and business needs.

  • Maintains knowledge of industry tools and processes in the field of learning technology, organizational development, and instructional design.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Learning & Development

Substitutions

  • 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning or Organizational Development

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 7 years of employee training, including training or performance analysis

  • 7 years in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Learning Consultation or related

Preferred

  • 5 years Employee training, including training or performance analysis5 years Instructional design, training methodologies, delivery, and/or training technology5 years Creating requirement documents, training proposals, learning objectives, and other training-related recommendations

  • Demonstrated experience using authoring tools for creating e-Learning and/or multimedia (Ex. Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate, etc.)

LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

  • ASTD or other certifications in needs analysis, instructional design, performance consulting, measurement and evaluation
