JOB SUMMARY

This job consults with enterprise analytic platform customers to design, create and enhance analytic solutions of moderate complexity and scale. The incumbent understands healthcare data from end to end-to-end as well as the analytic tools used to ingest data. Contributes in establishing best practices and methodologies, and utilizes these in consultations with platform customers. Works closely with technical resources to support changes to the analytics platforms, provide guidance and education to platform users, and conduct user group training sessions. Organizes analytic conferences for the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with customers on how to build new analytics solutions or improve existing ones.This will involve one-on-one and team sessions to analyze goals and determine the correct tool and process for meeting data needs objective.This requires knowledge of healthcare data, analytic tools, best practices to efficiently utilize them, and an understanding of the business needs.Work with customers on designing automated analytic processes to increase efficiencies.

  • Assist in the creation of best practices and training materials to expand the working knowledge of platform users.Materials will include efficient coding methods, streamlined data acquisition, understanding of derived data and new techniques to enhance analytic solutions.Conducts classroom training sessions to analytic platform customers.

  • Work with technical resources to design, review and test additions and enhancements to the analytics platforms.

  • Conduct user group meetings to expand the general knowledge of customers using all analytic platforms within the organization.

  • Assist in the organization and execution of internal analytic tool conferences. This will include working with internal presenters as well as vendors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Healthcare Informatics, Management Information Systems or Education

Substitutions

  • 6 years relevant and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor degree

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Management Information Systems

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 5 - 7 years in Data Analytics

  • 3 - 5 years in IT Application - SAS

To include

  • 1 - 3 years in IT Application - Tableau

Preferred

  • 3 - 5 years in the Healthcare Industry

  • 1 - 3 years in Training and Development
